2019 World Chess Grand Prix Series

World Chess Grand Prix Series events took place in four cities all over the world. The challenge was to develop a series of graphics that would work as a complex recognisable visual system, yet each key visual would represent one city on its own. Also, the overall style had to be a part of the global visual language we’ve developed for World Chess earlier. So for the Grand Prix Series I created a modular visual constructor that could adapt to different situations, sizes, and proportions. I also designed letterings for each of the cities to be used on posters and merchandise.
